Synthetic Test Identities & Patients

To support integration testing for our healthcare partners, the CLEAR sandbox environment now supports commonly used synthetic test identities. These users are industry-standard and commonly used across EHR systems to validate data flows between vendors.

When you submit one of the supported synthetic test users (starting with the phone number), you will receive the correct test identity data in return, ensuring that integration tests run smoothly and reflect real-world behavior.

You can now submit identity verifications for any of the following test identities in the CLEAR sandbox

To use these identities, simply enter the phone number associated with the profile when submitting a verification request in the sandbox.

The synthetic identities will always return a successful verification. If you want to simulate a failed verification you must enter a different phone number to start.

CLEAR will return the corresponding synthetic identity details for your integration test.
